JOB POSTING: Westview Girls Varsity Coach

Westview Lacrosse is seeking a head coach for the girl’s varsity lacrosse team, starting 2011 or sooner. The individual needs to have coaching and playing experience, be capable of organizing and running the practices while working closely with the other coaches and parent volunteers, have the capability to motivate the players while upholding excellent sportsmanship on and off the field. The time commitment is Monday-Friday for practice and/or games and an occasional Saturday. Administrative functions are handled by the club president, officers and board members. Salary will be negotiated. Collegiate playing experience is a benefit. Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

US Lacrosse Level 1 Coaching Certification
CPR & First Aid Certified
21 years or older
Member of US Lacrosse
Intermediate knowledge of lacrosse
Willing to submit information for a background check

Lakeridge senior and Rhino Rose player Meghan Jordan is all dialed in to compete at the next level!!! Jordan will attend UC Davis in the fall and become one of the 6 new additions to the Aggies’s roster!

Jordan is currently the top ranked player in Oregon, leading the stats with 49 goals and 46 assists. She is also top in the league in draw controls and ground balls.

Jordan will rock the orange and blue for the Rose one last summer as they look to dominate at the National Draw and the Cascade Cup!!!!

Mother-Daughter Clinic May 8th!!!

Rhino Lacrosse invites all girls and their mothers to an action packed clinic to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse from Rhino Girls Coaches and staff. Enjoy a morning of connecting as mothers and daughters through the great game of lacrosse. Gain a better understanding of the game and learn skills and techniques you can work on together!

This clinic will provide the chance for mothers to play on the field with their daughters, understand why the whistle blows so much, learn the lingo of the game, and ask any questions about the sport of lacrosse!!!

Moms will have a great opportunity to be involved and engaged in your daughters life and show your dedication to your daughters favorite sport

When: May 8th, 2010

Time: 9-11 am

Where: Hazelia Field at Luscher Farm
